Specifications:
acoustic (nylon string) fingerstyle solo guitar
category: instrumental country / jazz / easy listening
[From the CD liner notes]:
"This is my first album of completely solo guitar playing. Although I love to dabble in jazz, bluegrass, and other styles of music, I've always considered myself a 'Fingerstyle guitar' player. Fingerstyle guitar is a fairly broad term which, believe it or not, simply means 'guitar played with the fingers'. Fingerstyle does encompass the classical guitar world, and I do play a bit here and there with classical music, but I certainly don't consider myself a bona-fide classical guitarist (rightfully so!). I've included one original tune on this album, which I wrote with my good friend Pat Bergeson, some requested recordings, and some classical standards that I couldn't help myself from changing just a little. Cheers!" -- Richard Smith, 2007
