Jerry Reed is an American country music singer, country guitarist, songwriter, and actor. As a singer, he had a string of hits in the early '70s, but may be best remembered for his novelty song "When you're Hot, You're Hot" for which he received the Grammy Award for Best Male Country Vocal Performance in 1972. As an actor, he is remembered for his role as Burt Reynolds' buddy in the Smokey and the Bandit movies. Now, Jerry is on a mission to help the wounded soldiers coming back from Iraq and their families. Mr. Reed is donating all his artist and producer royalties from this record to help the US troops. So "Let's Git It On" and help support our brave men and women!
