Each artist has recorded their arrangements for the companion CD's. The recording will reflect how the artist interprets their arrangement (these arrangements were written out before they were recorded). This being the case, the arrangements are not literal transcriptions of the recording. Each guitarist studying these tunes should listen to the recording while reading these charts to gain a deeper understanding of the music. One may notice that certain parts are played rubato, for instance, or that a descrescendo is used at the end of a phrase.
All of these tiny changes, found in the recording, will contribute to a well-rounded musical experience using the written chart and the ear. Guitarists studying these charts are able to see different techniques in these arrangements and thus help themselves gain their own arranging style.
(Level=advanced) 139-pages spiral-bound edition transcribed in tablature & standard notation. Includes three companion CD's with performances of all songs.
