In 1990 Buster B. Jones won the National Fingerpicking Championship at Winfield, Kansas. He is a regular at the annual conventions in Nashville and France of the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society (CAAS). He has performed with Chet Atkins, Thom Bresh, Tommy Jones, Marcel Dadi, and John Knowles.
Buster touches on many different styles and approaches to playing lead and rhythm guitar. As a teacher his goal is to present this in such a manner that students can absorb it, play it and then use the ideas and take them to new places.
