The distinctive style that Lenny gave was a combination of the insights he learned from Bill Evans and other modern jazz pianists and his unique ability to create this music on guitar. Also it was directly from Chet Atkins that a young Lenny learned his technique that allows the artist to play more than one line simultaneously.
