Despite the low fidelity and informal setting it was unquestionable that I was listening to one of the great virtuosos of modern guitar. As my incredulity passed I could only ask myself, "Where has this guy been hiding?!" He is that good. For the uninitiated, Scotty personifies all the appellations one usually reserves for the brilliant but unheralded local legend.
